abi trace to small picture of chromatogram?

Hello,

        Does anyone know of a piece of software that will convert an
        abi trace into a small gif (or other) rendering of the
        chromatogram?  We run a core sequencing facility, and would
        like an easy way to graphically display the results of an
        entire 3700 run (96 lanes) so that one can assess the general
        quality of the run.  Thus the picture for each chromatogram
        would have to be quite small, almost a cartoon, but that would
        serve our purpose.
