Hi Bernd

Have you checked out SciEd's Align Plus? A new version is due November this
year. I have found it very useful for my purposes. I do not think it is
strong for phylogenetic purposes, but it has some very good alignment
features. Additionally it can be integrated with SciEd's other DNA programs.
