... This is probably BioEdit. It is found at 
http://www4.ncsu.edu/unity/users/t/tahall2/pub/bioedit.html, does a lot of 
thing, a bit like a SeqPup that wouldn't crash so often. And the author, Tom 
Hall, is very responsive to reasonable suggetions for additions, new functions 
etc..
