We have compiled GCG 8.1 successfully on an Intel Pentium machine running Sun
Solaris 6.3!
The non-commercial license for Solaris is free; you pay for media ($10) and
shipping and handling
($6-$25). It is available from: http://www.sun.com/developers/developers.html
I think it is the cheapest solution to run the Wisconsin Package without Linux!
