the Macintosh edition of its PAPYRUS Bibliography System & Knowledge
Manager. Previously available only via Internet download, customers can
now also purchase PAPYRUS Version 8.0 on CD-ROM, with or without printed

PAPYRUS is a state-of-the-art bibliographic database and knowledge
manager. It allows users to import bibliographic information from almost
any source, organize even hundreds of thousands of references, and work
with their word processor to automatically create perfectly-formatted
citations, footnotes and bibliographies. PAPYRUS Version 8.0 also provides
note-taking, cross-referencing and information-linking functions not found
in any other personal bibliographic program.
A true Macintosh application, PAPYRUS makes extensive use of core Apple
technologies such as Drag & Drop, Balloon Help, Apple Events, Word
Services, and WorldScript.
In January 1999, RSD announced the availability of PAPYRUS Version 8.0 via
Internet download. The many customers who have already purchased PAPYRUS

The electronic version of the PAPYRUS documentation is provided both as a
collection of HTML files, accessible through the user's existing Web
browser, and as a set of PDF files which can be viewed and printed using
the free Adobe Acrobat Reader, which is also included on the PAPYRUS
FREE "LIMITED" VERSION OF PAPYRUS
RSD also offers a FREE "Limited" version of PAPYRUS, which can be
downloaded from the RSD Web site (http://www.rsd.com/). The Limited
version will allow up to 200 references and notecards per database. Apart
from this restriction, the Limited version fully supports all features of
