The Institute for Marine Biosciences (Halifax, NS) of the National Research
Council of Canada invites applications for research associates and
postdoctoral fellows (duration of positions is to 31 March 2002). Successful
candidates will work with Drs. Christoph Sensen

Genomics technologies (C.S.)
High-density arrays (C.S.)
Molecular machines (Golgi) (C.S.)
Proteomics (N.R.)
Computational genomics (M.R.)
Microbial bioinformatics (M.R.)
Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. in computer science with a biology
and bioinformatics background or a Ph.D. in life sciences with several years
experience programming in a UNIX environment or a PhD in life sciences with
extensive experience in protein chemistry (for proteomics position only)..
Successful candidates will be expected to develop a research program within
the NRC Genomics Initiative at IMB.
Preference will be given to Canadian citizens and Permanent Residents;
