Hi folks,
I am taking an informal (obviously) poll to gauge support for a Linux
version of EndNote. I have no affiliation with Niles Software. I am a
Linux user who would like to see a port of this program for my
favorite OS.
For those who are not aware, EndNote is a bibliography / reference
manager program that runs under Windows and Macintosh. It allows
references to be imported from several database formats, including
Medline, and can format references within a document in many styles
used by journals. See www.niles.com for more information.
1) Do you use EndNote currently? What platform?
2) Would you pay for a Linux version of this program? Why or why not?
3) How much? More or less than the Windows or Macintosh version?
Please reply to me with your answers. I will check the newsgroup but
it will be easier to manage the results if you simply email a
response.
Thanks for your time,
Patrick Finerty
