Are there any plans to bring back the "ALIGN WITH..." feature
which was available in version 2.45? That feature allowed a
user to align the current entry with another entry already in
the database. One could then "propagate features" from
the fully annotated GenBank entry, onto the new entry, if
the alignment looked good.
This feature was very handy for HIV researchers who
sequence the same genome (gag, pol, tat, rev, env
etc...) from many different isolates of the same
virus.
