Post-doctoral Position
in Enzyme Data Base Development
Applications are invited for a three-year postdoctoral position for the
development of an enzyme data base in the context of a metabolic network
project. Applicants are expected to have a ph.d. in biochemistry,
chemistry or biology, a strong background in enzymology, and an interest
in the computer-aided storage and retrieval of scientific data. The
project includes literature search and evaluation, control of the
scientific quality of the data and conversion of the data for
construction of a metabolic data base in cooperation with the European
Bioinformatics Institute in Cambridge, UK.
