TreeView 1.5 is now available for Macintosh (68K and PowerPC) and
Windows
95/NT systems from http://taxonomy.zoology.gla.ac.uk/rod/treeview.html.
TreeView can read and display most phylogenetic tree formats.
New features in 1.5 include:
- a MacClade/COMPONENT-style interactive tree editor
- ability to copy tree descriptions to the Clipboard
- ability paste tree descriptions (e.g., "(a,(b,(c,d)));" directly into
TreeView
- improved drawing of unrooted trees
- support for MEGA file format
