Hi,
Can anyone provide me with the info on commercially available software for
PC platform dealing
with reading sequences from scanned films? I do not need complex packages
like DNAStar, GCG or alikes, just a dedicated soft aimed at assigning GATC
to a particular lane and providing good algorithms to analyze base position
and to call the base sequence.
The one of the genre I know is Kodak's bandscanner SQ. Another is DNAScan
from Alpha Innotech. My knowlege about this programs is however limited to
their descriptions provided by their manufacturers. Do any other soft of
this sort exists? Which is the best? I did not limited severely in scanning
and computer capabilities, I have U2SCSI PC computer and 800x1600 A3
scanner.
