Following up on this topic, if one wants to analyse whole genome sequences
by restriction digestion etc. just as you do for plasmids and viral genomes
on a Mac or a PC, what software will do it, on the same Mac or PC? (apart
from SeqPup?).
Will any existing programs (commercial or academic) handle the E.coli sequence
on a non-Unix box?
