I have developed a computer program that can simulate fatty acid transport
between two membranes through an aqueous space. The involvement of cytoplasmic
fatty acid binding protein in this process is modeled under a variety of
conditions.
The model is described in: Vork et al, Prostaglandins,
Leukotrienes and Essential Fatty Acids 57, 11-16, 1997
The program is now available to anyone who is interested in this process.
