70,000 Labels Added To The Visible Human CD

The Visible Human Male CD Version 2.0 includes more than 
70,000 labels describing over 1,600 features of three major 
systems of the body. The CD is the first digital labeled
reference of the male anatomy. Version 2.0 includes labels 
for the muscular, nervous, and skeletal system. Another new 
feature in version 2.0 is an improved graphical Navigator. 

The Navigator is a mouse-driven browser that lets users select 
a body section, click on it, and retrieve the corresponding image. 
With the new and improved Navigator, users can annotate slices 
and add bookmarks for quick reference; and use point and click 
commands to select the modality, resolution or orientation of the 
images they desire.
