Designed for use at high school, college and university level,
Interactive Microscope Laboratory is currently in development.

Have a look at http://www.awl-ile.com/biology/iml/

IML simulates a microscope, giving students access to high-
quality interactive images, and related teaching material.
Students are able to interact with the software, focusing,
zooming and panning, as they would with a real microscope.
With IML it is possible to give students access to images from
microscopes, like electron scopes, that would not normally be
available in the classroom. Teachers are able to set up new
lessons and activities. IML will initially be delivered with 2
slide sets covering a first year Cell Biology course, and the
UK GCSE syllabus.

Let me know if you find it interesting, or if there are features
that you think are missing.

Jeff.
