Help! Any good reference database?

Hi, netusers

I am looking for available reference database using with WinWord97. I
can't found any versatile one which can accept various reference format.

Recently, I tried EndNote with WinWord97 but failed. I don't know why it
doesn't function.

I will appreciate any help.
