I have a genral question regarding the development of atherosclerotic
plaques in coronary arteries?
Has anyone out there seen any mathematical models of the evolution of such
atherosclerotic lesions from the earliest "yellow streaks" in the inner
lining of the arteries to more advanced stenotic lesions.
I am looking for a model describing the 2 and 3 dimensional changes of
such lesions over time in proportion to other known risk factors for such
pathology (i.e. lipid levels, BP, age, family Hx, diabetes and so on)?
