Colour analyzing soft for Mac

Dear News Readers,

Does anybody know how to measure the particular colour in a picture?

We often stain culture cells with FITC and/or PI, and GFP recently. The
microscope CCD camera connected to Macintosh gives nice pictures of
red/green/yellow colours. I would like to pick up double stained yellow
part, for example, to count cells or measure the area.

I think NIH Image can do some measurement with gray pictures using
density slice function, but not with colour pics.

Thank you for your attention.
