howdy folks,
i would be interested in hearing from anyone who has compiled the
blast package under linux ELF. some time ago Warren Gish gave me a
significant amount of help in compiling this as an a.out program. now
that my system is nearly all ELF, i would like to try to rebuild this
software. i have obtained recent source code for all required
packages from this URL: ftp://ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/blast/.
before i really dig in and try this i'd love to hear if anyone has
managed to do it for an ELF system. unfortunately, i no longer have
the list of changes that were required to build this package under
linux in the past.
pointers are welcome.
