Just a reminder - the due date for submissions to the American Medical
Informatics Association (AMIA) Annual Fall Symposium (formerly SCAMC) is
March 28th. The meeting itself will be held OCtober 26-30 in Washington, DC.
The theme this year is "Beyond the Superhighway: Exploiting the Internet
witjh Medical Informatics". Presentations relevant to the Internet will
be highlighted but, as always, all areas of medical informatics are of
interest to the Program Committee. International participation is
encouraged.
Manuscripts for presentation, abstracts for posters and electronic
posters (also known as "table top demonstrations"), and proposals for
panels, tutorials and workshops are solicited. For you students out
there, check out the Student Paper Competition. If you have not received
a copy of the Call for Participation, you can do so by calling the AMIA
office at 301-657-1291. Of course, the Internet works too:
