We invite applications for an industrial postdoctorial
position to program client/ server applications for
bioinformatics purposes in the pharmaceutical industry.
Understanding of sequence analysis and solid knowledge
of WWW required languages (Perl, Java, C, etc.) is
important.
The project requires interaction with researchers to
achieve the optimal solution and will involve the
creation of a (Web / email based) server which aids
molecular biologists with as easy as possible methods
to postprocess their data originating from massive
sequencing projects relating to human diseases. All
the standard databases (updated as frequently as pos-
sible) are available. Software such as GCG, BLAST as
well as some more sophisticated packages are employed.
Post Docs are expected to undertake work that will
lead to publications. Physical presence at the office
is required (no consulting or telecommuting). More
