Announcing the release of PROMOTER SCAN II:

PROMOTER SCAN II is a program developed to recognize and predict
POL II promoters in genomic DNA sequences. Presently it is limited to
mammalian promoter sequences, and is set to find approximately 60-70%
of promoter sequences never before seen by the program, with an
expected false positive rate of less then 1 in 30,000 single-stranded
bases (based upon cross-validation tests).

The program is accessable only by the web at URL:

Program use is free of charge.
