                     YEAR 2000 SOLUTIONS

         Theme: Resources & Strategies for Managing
                 the Year 2000 Date Problem

        March 18-21, 1996 * Washington D.C. * U.S.A. 

This is your invitation to participate in the leading international
conference and exposition on resources and strategies for managing the
year 2000 date problem. 

We are focusing on the Year 2000 Date Conversion. The year 2000 is rapidly
approaching, and the time to prepare your legacy applications for the year
2000 is now. Expertise and tools are currently being marshalled. This
conference will provide important resources to help companies cope with
this consummate software management problem.

             CONFERENCE STRUCTURE AND FEATURES:

   * Pre- and Post-conference tutorials are planned for March 18
     and March 21
   * Vendor Showcase will run during the conference on March 19
     and 20 
   * Plenary sessions in the mornings; concurrent sessions during
     the afternoons

We are soliciting proposals for presentations and workshops. Presentations
are 45-90 minutes in length. We need to hear from you if you have an area
of expertise or experience you can share with the software maintenance and
software management community. If you want to submit a proposal for a
presentation, or explore an idea for a presentation, we want to hear from
you. We are also interested in hearing from individuals interested in
presenting longer 1/2 or full day workshops. Use the form following to
structure your submission.

We are interested in topics dealing with the maintenance and management of
existing software system assets into the new millennium, especially
dealing with the Year 2000 Century Change.

BULLETS FOR CONFERENCE BROCHURE:

conference attendees typically use to decide which talks to attend. They
are therefore very important. They should be short statements of the three
main points or topics in your talk, and should convey the relevance of
your talk to the audience. For example: (1) The challenge of the year 2000
date conversion; (2) What our organization has done to date; (3) Results
and future actions.
