HCA-Plot is a Macintosh hydrophobic cluster analysis program.
The basics of the method are described in FEBS Letters, 224, pp 149-155 (1987) and
Biochimie, 72, pp 555-574 (1990).
Initially released by C. Gaboriaud and J.P. Mornon as HCA-Plot v1.0, the latest 2.1
version is now distributed by a small french computer society called Doriane Informatique.

Although somewhat useful, HCA-Plot is a poorly developed application. Its interface is
clumsy, and the display or printing options are very limited.
We found it too expensive for a commercial product with so many rough edges
(around 1000 FF for academic institutions).
