You might check out the kinsim/fitsim packages developed by Dr. Carl
Frieden and others. It is available from the wuarchive ftp site
(wuarchive.wustl.edu or 128.252.135.4) in St. Louis. I believe that it is in
the /packages/kinsim set of subdirectories and is available for a number of
platforms (SGI, Vax/VMS, MSDOS, Mac).
