There is a program called 'SimNerve' (Georg Thieme, Stuttgart/New York,
ISBN: 3 13 799603 1), which simulates an Experiment on frog sciatic nerve.
It comes on CD and was originally written for the Mac but there is a Windows
version too (but i strongly recommend the Mac-version). The program lets you
stimulate a nerve, measure latency, peak heights of action potentials and
so. It focusses on the experimental side (you have to adjust the whole
setup ) and the preparation (Quicktime Movies of how to prepare the frog).
The Graphics are quite good, everything looks as in a laboratory.
The publishers may send you a demo version.
Hope this helps
