Here are two sources for ecological modeling software:
(1) Applied Biomathematics, 100 North Country Road, Setauket, NY 11733
(516) 751-4350 [fax = (516) 751-3435]. They sell & support the
RAMAS family of PC software for age or stage or spatial or metapop'n
structured pop'ns, among other things.
(2) Exeter Software, also at 100 North Country Road, Setauket, NY 11733
(don't recall #, but ask AB above). Exeter exists mainly to sell
Jim Rohlf's NT-SYS multivariate stats program, but they distribute
a lot of other bio & eco software.
Both of these places will send you catalogs & info. AB can provide you
with top-notch ecological modeling support (they are all PhD ecological
modelers). And no, I don't work for either of these companies.
