Dear Netters,
I have a Mac Quadra 700 with a 325 Mb Maxtor 7345-SCSI version 0960 drive. I
have installed the MacOS 7.5 without updating the drive since Apple HD SC Setup
does not recognize this drive. Since then the computer has been marred with
problems which range from the impossibility to use QuickDraw GX to the
impossibility to activate the filesharing option. I think that the drive is
responsible for the problem since I had a technician test a new motherboard.
This drive was unfortunately sold to me by a retailer which has gone out of
business and is integrated by a company called A2D. Could anyone suggest me a
program (freeware or shareware) to format my disk or have e-mail (preferred) or
snail mail adresses of Maxtor or A2D.
