Greetings:
The Educational Media and Technologies Section (EMTS) of the
Medical Library Association (MLA) issues a compilation titled
"Core List for Audiovisual and CAI Programs." This year's co-
editors are Marlene Smith (The University of Missouri at Kansas
City) and Bill Karnoscak (Rush University, Chicago Illinois).
We are soliciting suggestions from our peers and colleagues
who are in a position to suggest HEALTH-CARE-RELATED titles they
feel should be included in this list. These programs may be used
for student instruction in academic curricula or in-service/continuing
education purposes for health care professionals.
All media formats are included in the list (videocassettes,
interactive video, CD-ROM, etc.). Each title submitted should
include, when possible, purchase information (distributor,
address, phone, cost) and format specifications. Brief comments
about content summary or how the program is used at your
institution are welcomed and encouraged.
If you have additional questions, please contact Marlene
(816-235-1832; marsmith at vax1.umkc.edu) or Bill (312-942-6832;
btk at lib.rpslmc.edu). We expect The List to be ready for
dissemination sometime this spring (1995!).
