I used papyrus for a couple of years with no complaints. Its a little
tough at first, because of the inherent complexity of dealing with all
the styles of references out there.
You can't beat the price... its a great way to see if you really need
or want this kind of software. I decided to switch because papyrus
isn't a windows based app (although it does run under windows just
fine). The company was currently developing a mac-based version, with
no windows version even on the drawing board!
I am now using Reference Manager for Windows, and I like it just fine.
Because it IS a windows application, I find it easier to use than
papyrus. It is significantly more expensive (~$600) with all the
modules I wanted, and they charge an extra fee for each registered
database beyond 1, which you want to maintain. Since I had the grant
funds to pay for the software, the money was not too big a deal.
