X applications on Macs

I use MacX on occasion. It works fine, except for one significant problem:
when one is performing operations that would normally drag an "outline" of
an object, analagous to dragging icons around in the Finder, the outline
is not visible on the Mac. This problem has made certain applications,
like UIMX, pretty much unusable.

However, everything else works fine, if a bit slowly on the graphics end
of things.
