I have a friend who wants to map Christmas bird count data. Each site has
latitude and longitude and the species found at the site, arranged in a
spreadsheet format. Is there software that can take the coordinates and draw a
map of the species ranges on a map of the United States? Macintosh software
would be easiest for my friend, but PC would probably also be OK.
