HyperBLAST 1.10 November 18, 1994

An updated version of the Macintosh HyperCard stack called HyperBLAST
is now available. HyperBLAST 1.10 is a client to the NCBI Network
BLAST service and replaces HyperBLAST 1.0.9 from December 1992.

The changes to HyperBLAST include an updated list of databases now
available from the NCBI, plus the ability to request a TBLASTX search.
The parameters window was also changed to allow use of difference
scoring matrices and selection of either XNU or SEG sequence filters.
HyperBLAST's output will now also work with MicroSoft Word versions 4,
5, or 6.

To use HyperBLAST your Macintosh must be on the Internet, have MacTCP
installed, and be registered with the NCBI Network BLAST server. For
more information or to obtain HyperBLAST use Anonymous FTP to
ncbi.nlm.nih.gov in the directory:

     blast/network/experimental/macintosh/hyperblast

For information on the Network BLAST service see:
    ftp://ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/blast/network/experimental/README

To obtain a copy of the current BLAST manual send an e-mail message to
blast at ncbi.nlm.nih.gov and include only the word "help" as the body of
the message, the subject line is ignored. The Network BLAST server and
its options are identical to the e-mail server.
