I've been using Macaw on the Mac and have been having some problems
with it.
I've been using Macaw 2.0.3 on the lab's LC475 by pasting sequence in
since I found it impossible to load files of sequence. The menu was
corrupt and so it wasn't a problem generated by the minefield of
sequence format differences. Since this was an undocumented bug I
guessed that although highly polished it hadn't been tested on many
types of Mac.
When I attempted to use it on a Quadra the program found everything
to be an homology. Then I found Macaw 2.0.4 at ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
/pub/macaw/mac-68k and tried that, only to find the same problem.
Does anyone know how to run Macaw on this Quadra, or how to contact
the authors?
