One program that we use to display the output of Raster3D is the
"display" package of ImageMagick v3.0 (available at ftp.x.org). It
claims to have an annotation feature available inside of it that
*should* allow you to make labels on your graphics. Actually, I
end up converting most of my graphics over to Mac PICT format (nice
slide maker on campus) and use Canvas or another Mac based program
to do the same thing.
