I found your e-mail address while doing a gopher search on
"prodigy" and "access". I'm trying to access Prodigy from the
internet while here in Berlin, Germany, the reason being that
I would like to keep track of the stock market that way.
Do you, by chance, know if there's a way? If there's no
gateway from the internet, I would also have the possibility
to use a dial out modem from US based internet host, i.e. I
would access Prodigy just as usual thru the phone system,
the only difference being
that I would not be able to use the usual Prodigy-supplied
access software but a general purpose terminal program like
telemate or procomm. I think those programs will not be able to
handle the Prodigy graphics so I would have to find a way to extract
the text information only.
Anyway. I'm sorry to bother you with this. It's funny how one
bumps into one another these days, given all those high tech
means of communication. At any rate, I'd be highly
appreciative if you could help me with this, because it would
make a very importance difference for me while staying here
inerlin.
