We need a local (departmental) news and bulletin board service run from
our central unix file server. Before writing one, I thought I'd ask if
anybody uses (or knows of) a good one. The specs we want include
1. An official calendar that would display a list of notices of
future events.
2. An official departmental news and memo list.
3. Special-purpose lists (for example, project progress recording,
data discrepancy files, etc.)
4. A general notice board to which anyone might post messages for
general distribution.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
