My major professor is looking for a GIS compatible, Mac based software
package for mapping fish collection localities in North and South America.
Precise drainage maps must be included with the software and the program
should be able to identify sites when latitudinal-longitudinal coordinates
are submitted.
The software should also be able to use multilevel descriptions of sites
using a "map pin legend". He is wishing to identify sites using at least
the following three criteria: 1) reliability of collection data 2) sites
reported in grey literature 3) reference to year or decade of collection.
