I've received a couple notes from people trying to find FARFETCH, a
sequence retrieval client by Dr. Will Gilbert, now at the University of
New Hampshire. The address given in the CABIOS article (vol 10(2):
207-208 2994) is wrong: the changes made in proof did not make it
to press.
FARFETCH is available directly from Dr. Gilbert at
farfetch.unh.edu
132.177.128.85
If you try farfetch.wi.mit.edu, it should point to to the UNH machine.
The software is in
ftp://farfetch.unh.edu/anonymous/{dos,macintosh,unix,vms}.dir/...
There are some other nifty programs there, be sure to check them out!
It is also available on the UH Gene-Server in
pub/gene-server/{dos,unix,mac,vms}/... directly from his
server.
