Ron,
Glad to hear that GDE made the list. I have to make one small correction
to do justice to all people who have worked on GDE. It actually started
at the University of Illinois, in Carl Woese's laboratory, and the real
functional aspects of the package (auto alignment, phylogeny, database
searching etc.) come from all over the place. There was much good work
done at Harvard by many people at the genome lab, but the package owes
credit to a much wider group.
