This is the sort of thing that might work really well with
hyper-text/WWW. A user would have a directory of html files for
each group, each page would have a simple question and a choice
of a "yes" and a "no" link to the next question. The final page
would identify the creature/plant, possibly having an in-line
image.
Oh, well, just a thought. It'll probably take much too much work
to set up!
