Hello,
	To use the EMBL fileserver just send email to;

	NetServ at EMBL-Heidelberg.DE

don't put anything in the "subject line" of the message and simply put commands
the fileserver understands in the body (one command per line). To get yourself
started just try

	HELP

or	HELP SOFTWARE

	The fileserver will reply by email within a day or so (it depends on
the time and the traffic).
	I have successfully used the server to collect programs for the PC
(these are compressed, broken up and UUEncoded) and to collect .PDB
coordinates. There are several other facilities available.
		Have fun!

Oh, I ought to say that I am only a *user* of this service and the above
information is correct as far as I know. If I am in error then I hope
someone better informed will correct me.
