In our institute we have both Medline and CC without abstract. As
previously mentionned in
David McCaskill's mail CC is heavy to store on Hard disks. Moreover, it
is very difficult to look for references
over a long period of time because you can at most, scan 6 issues (weeks)
at a time. Thus, it appears that
the use of Medline and CC are very different. The latter should be used
for a daily bibliographic work. The
former for bibliographic searches over a large period of time (to have an
idea of the bibliography of someone, to get into
a new field, and so on.)

The possibility of a subscription to the CC on diskette with an annual
issue published on CD-ROM
would be very interesting. As far as I know, this does not seem available.
