Hi there! you could use Amplify1.2 (ftp or gopher to ftp.bio.indiana.edu for example) to check for primer dimer formation in degenerate oligos... it's a very nifty program for PCR simulation, but you don't need a target sequence for checking oligos with it. Good luck, Roland
