Harvard University's Herbarium has some gorgeous plant photographs
on-line. Look in
gopher://huh.harvard.edu/11/images
If you look around the WWW there are a lot of scattered images --
depending on people's research and interests. I don't know of
any good net-wide catalogs of such.
