Quarterly Review of Biology. Vol 68 (4): 637-648. The review
recommends SYSTAT for the MAC but unless you routinely use a lot of more
advanced analyses then a program called JMP was considered to be very
good with a nice intuitive user interface.
Hope this helps. I am currently trying to decide on a package myself. I
will try to get a look at JMP before I decide to shell out for SYSTAT
(which I find a bit unfriendly, speaking as a statistical dunce).
