If you have the genomic sequence, then just aligning the cDNA and gDNA
is the way to go. If you don't have the genomic sequence, then it
is basically hopeless because almost all the splicing info resides on
in the intron (see J.Mol.Biol. 228:1124-1136 for a particularly
beautiful depiction of this).
