NIH Image is not available for DOS/Windows machines or for UNIX, only for
the Macintosh. It is available by anonymous FTP from zippy.nimh.nih.gov, in
the directory /pub/image. It is also available by e-mail through the NIH
Image mailing list. To subscribe, send a message containing the line
"subscribe nih-image <your name>" to listserv at soils.umn.edu.
