TREECON is a very user-friendly package of programs for the construction
and drawing of evolutionary trees based on distance data. The package
is menu driven and runs on IBM compatible computers (80286 or higher)
with VGA resolution. Popular methods like neighbour-joining and bootstrapping
are implemented.

TREECON can now be obtained through gopher. To do this, point
your gopher client to the MegaGopher at:

and select

-->  3.  Computational Molecular Biology/
-->  1.  Applications for Phylogenetic analysis/
-->  2.  Treecon/

Please read the file README_FIRST by selecting:

-->  1.  README_FIRST.

Yves Van de Peer has requested that if you have received the package,
that you please send him your name and address so he can add you to
his mailing list so he can keep you informed about further improvements
and developments. His email address is yvdp at reks.uia.ac.be
