GCG-menu is indeed a menu driven user environment for GCG. From a main
menu you may select submenus, more submenus and so on until you reach
the desired program or function. In addition all programs are called
with the /CHECK-Qualifier so that you'll see all the command-line
switches for each program. GCG-menu supports the GCG-help facility,
that is you enter the name of a program and you press F15 (HELP) to
get help about it. Calling GCG-menu initializes GCG and calls SetPlot
in advance to force the user to define the output graphics device
for the current session. Give it a try!
In addition there are GCG-Shells from S. Clark for many of the GCG programs.
